This project brings together all available historical and archaeological information relating to St Edmund’s Abbey and precinct to provide baseline information from which a Conservation Management Plan will be produced.
The Heritage Assessment characterises the known and potential archaeology and built heritage and reviews the history of the project area from prehistory to the present day.
This project is being undertaken in partnership with Richard Hoggett Heritage.
